Together, we can keep Carlo’s legacy alive and spread the message of Eucharistic love that was so central to his short but impactful life.

Carlo Audis was beatified by Pope Francis on October 10th, 2020, recognized as blessed Carlo Acudis.

The miracle attributed to his intercession which was required for his beatification involved the healing of a Brazilian child with a rare pancreatic condition.

The Vatican confirmed that this healing had no scientific explanation.

But for those who knew Carlo, who witnessed his life and his death, the real miracle was not what happened after his death.

It was how he lived with absolute faith, with genuine joy, with unwavering love for Jesus in the Eucharist.

I am an old priest now.

My hair is white, my steps slower.

But when people ask me if I believe in miracles, if I believe that God still speaks to us today, if I believe that saints still walk among us, I don’t need to quote theology books or church documents.

I simply tell them about a night in October, about a room filled with light, about a boy who smiled as he saw heaven opening.

I tell them about Carlo Autis.
