My husband hits me, she whispered.

I have no hope.

I see something in your eyes.

You have a piece that I do not understand.

Can you tell me dot dot dot? Can you tell me about your God? That night in the living room where I had been shunned, I led her to Jesus.

This is the secret of the crystal.

When you allow God to harden your resolve, him purify your heart.

You become a magnet for people who are broken.

They don’t come to you because you are popular.

They come to you because you are real.

They come to you because they see that the pressure didn’t destroy you.

It defined you.

I want to ask you a question today.

What is your relationship with pressure? When the bills pile up, when the sickness returns, when the marriage gets hard, do you pray for God to take the pressure away? Or do you pray for God to use the pressure to change your structure? Most of us spend our lives trying to avoid the heat.

We want the comfortable Christianity.

We want the blessings without the battles.

But diamonds are not made in comfort.

They are made in the deep, dark, crushing places of the earth.

You might be in a crushing place right now.

You feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

You feel like you can’t breathe.

I am here to tell you, you are not being married.

You are being planted.

You are not being destroyed.

You are being crystallized.

God is aligning your spirit.

He is removing the impurities.

He is making you into something that can reflect his glory in a way that glass never could.

The rope didn’t break just to save a body.

It broke to release a spirit.

And God wants to do the same for you.

He wants to snap the rope of fear that has been choking you.

Not just so you can survive, but so you can shine.

We are coming to the end of my story, but this is actually the beginning of yours because I am going to ask you to do something in a moment that requires courage.

I am going to ask you to make a choice.

The choice is not to go to Iran.

The choice is not to stay on a gallows.

The choice is to let go of the safety of being glass and accept the destiny of being a crystal.

If you have felt that stirring in your heart, if you have felt that God is calling you to something deeper, something stronger, something more transparent, dot dot dot, then you are ready for the final step.

Prepare your heart.

Check your surroundings.

If [snorts] you can find a quiet place for the next four minutes because we are going to pray together.

We are going to believe together.

And I believe that just like the rope snapped in that swear in Tehran, chains are about to snap in your living room right now.

We are at the end of my story.

But as I promised, this is the beginning of yours.

I want to tell you one last secret.

It is something I have never shared publicly before.

It is about what happened three nights after I was released from prison when the euphoria of the miracle had faded and the silence of my family had begun.

I woke up at 3:00 a.

m.

covered in sweat.

My hands were clawing at my throat.

I couldn’t breathe.

In the darkness of my room, I felt the rope again.

It wasn’t a physical rope.

There was nothing there.

But the memory of that rough hemp was so real, so heavy that my airway felt like it was closing.

I lay there paralyzed.

The enemy whispered to me.

You didn’t escape.

We just let you go so you would suffer more.

You are still bound.

You will always be bound.

Fear owns you.

I had a choice in a terrified moment.

I could lie there and let the panic attack consume me or I could do something ridiculous, something that made no sense.

I sat up in bed.

My hands were shaking.

I raised my hand to my neck to the imaginary rope that was choking me.

I grabbed the air.

I [snorts] felt the weight of the fear, the weight of the rejection, the weight of the unknown future.

And then [snorts] I shouted into the darkness.

I didn’t whisper, I shouted, “In the name of Jesus, I cut you.

” I made [snorts] a slashing motion with my hand like I was holding a knife.

Slash.

And in that instant, my lungs filled with air.

The weight vanished.

The room became light, even though it was pitch black.

I realized then that the rope in the town square was easy to break because God did it for me.

But the rope in my mind, the rope of fear, that was the rope I had to cut [snorts] using the authority he gave me.

I am looking at you right now.

Yes, you.

I don’t know your name.

[snorts] I don’t know what city you’re sitting in, but I know that you are feeling a rope.

Maybe it is the rope of financial ruin tightening every month when the bills call.

Maybe it is the rope of a sickness that the doctors say is incurable.

Maybe it is the rope of addiction that you have tried to break a thousand times and it keeps snapping back.

Or maybe it is the rope of silence.

You are afraid to speak up for your faith because you do and want to lose your job or your friends.

You have watched this video for 50 minutes.

You didn’t stay this long just to be entertained.

You stayed because your spirit is crying out for a rope breaking miracle.

I am going to ask you to do something bold.

I want you to stop being a spectator.

I want you to become a participant in this testimony.

Wherever you are, in your living room, in your car, in your office, I want you to put your phone down for a second or just free up one hand.

I want you to place your hand on your neck.

Gently feel your pulse.

Feel that beat.

Thump, thump, thump.

That is the rhythm of a life that God is sustaining.

That is the proof that he is not done with you yet.

Now, I want you to visualize that thing that is choking you.

Name it.

Is it fear? Is it shame? Is it dead? Is it loneliness? See, it is a thick ugly rope wrapped around your destiny.

We are going to cut it.

Not with our power, but with his.

I am going to pray and when I say the word cut, I want you to physically make that motion.

I want you to participate in your own deliverance.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you on behalf of my brother, on behalf of my sister watching the screen.

Lord, you saw me on the gallows.

You saw the rope snap.

You are the god of the impossible escape.

Lord, look at this person right now.

You see the rope that the enemy has wrapped around their mind.

You see the pressure they are under.

They feel like the trap door is about to open.

They feel like it’s over, but you say it is not over.

You say this is just the setup for the glory.

So right now by the authority of the blood of Jesus, we take hold of that robe of fear.

We take hold of that robe of sickness.

We take hold of that robe of poverty.

And in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, dot dot.

We cut it.

Do it now.

Cut it.

Let it fall to the floor.

Breathe.

Take a deep breath.

Fill your lungs with the freedom of the sons and daughters of God.

The rope is broken.

The executioner has fled.

You are standing on the platform and you are alive.

The enemy wanted to use this pressure to crush you into dust.

But he made a mistake.

He forgot that you belong to God.

And under pressure, God’s children don’t turn to dust.

We turn into crystals.

We become unbreakable.

We become transparent vessels for his light.

From this day forward, you are not a victim.

You are a testimony waiting to happen.

Walk in their freedom.

Walk in that power.

And the next time you feel that fear trying to wrap itself around you, remember the sound of the snap, remember that the laws of physics bow down to the name of Jesus.
