The other guard nodded slowly.

Neither can I.

For the first time since the mission began, none of us were thinking about the money Prince Romani had promised.

All we could think about was the presence in the sky.

Then Prince Romani shouted through the radio again.

Release the bombs immediately.

His voice had become furious.

If you refuse, every one of you will be arrested for treason.

The threat hung in the air like a blade.

But then something happened that none of us expected.

The glowing figure of Jesus raised his hands slightly and suddenly the bomb containers behind us unlocked by themselves.

Metal clamps snapped open.

The bombs slid slowly out of their holders.

The guards jumped back in shock.

What is happening? One of them shouted.

The bombs rolled toward the open cargo door of the helicopter, but instead of falling toward the church below, they stopped, hovering in the air outside the helicopter, floating just like the aircraft itself.

The guards stared in disbelief.

I felt tears running down my face without realizing it.

The voice of Jesus spoke again.

No weapon formed against my people will succeed tonight.

The bombs began to move slowly away from the helicopter, drifting farther and farther into the darkness until finally they disappeared completely into the night sky.

None of us said a word.

Even the prince had gone silent on the radio.

Then the helicopter engines suddenly came back to life.

The rotor blades started spinning again.

The instruments lit up normally.

Everything returned to normal as if nothing had happened, except one thing.

The bombs were gone.

Prince Romani’s voice finally returned.

What happened to the payload? He demanded.

I swallowed hard.

They They are gone, I said quietly.

There was a long silence.

Then the prince’s voice came back filled with rage.

You fools.

Return to the base immediately.

The radio went dead.

But none of us were thinking about the prince anymore because the glowing figure in the sky was still there.

and he was looking directly at us.

For a moment, the entire world felt silent.

Then Jesus spoke one final time.

“Seek the truth and you will find me.

” The light around him grew brighter, brighter than the moon, brighter than the stars until suddenly he was gone.

The sky returned to darkness.

Only the city lights of Thron remained below us.

For several minutes, none of us spoke.

Finally, Ysef’s voice came through the radio again.

His voice sounded completely different now.

Farid, yes.

What we saw tonight, he paused, was a miracle.

I looked down at the empty sky where the bombs had vanished.

My heart was still shaking.

Yes, I said quietly.

But I think this is only the beginning, because when we returned to the base, we would soon discover that Prince Romani was already waiting for us.

and what he planned to do next would place all of our lives in danger.

The flight back to the military base felt longer than any mission I had ever flown.

None of us spoke much during the journey.

The sky above Tyrron had returned to its normal darkness.

But inside my mind, everything had changed.

My hands still trembled slightly on the controls as the helicopter cut through the cold night air.

What we had seen could not be explained by science, training, or military experience.

We had seen Jesus in the sky, and none of us could deny it.

Ysef’s helicopter stayed close beside mine during the flight.

Occasionally, I heard his breathing over the radio, but he never spoke again.

It was as if both of us were afraid that speaking might somehow break the reality of what had just happened.

But the mission wasn’t over yet.

In fact, our real danger was waiting on the ground.

When the military base finally appeared in the distance, I noticed something unusual immediately.

The entire runway was lit.

More vehicles than usual were parked near hangar 7 and several armed soldiers were standing outside.

My stomach tightened.

Farid, Ysef said quietly over the radio.

I see it too, I replied.

Prince Romani had clearly been waiting for us as the helicopter slowly descended onto the landing pad.

My heart began to pound again.

The rotor blades slowed as the aircraft touched the ground.

The moment the engine shut down, the guards who had been inside the helicopter quickly stepped out.

But their faces looked completely different from before.

The arrogance they had carried earlier was gone.

Now they looked afraid.

We climbed down from the helicopter together and there he was.

Prince Romani standing in front of us with several armed soldiers behind him.

His face was filled with anger.

Where are the bombs? He demanded immediately.

No one answered at first.

The prince’s eyes moved from one of us to the other.

“Did you disobey my order?” he asked slowly.

The silence grew heavier.

Finally, Yousef spoke.

His voice was shaking.

Your highness, something happened in the sky.

Prince Romani stepped closer.

What kind of excuse are you trying to invent? I took a deep breath and stepped forward.

There was a light, I said.

The prince frowned.

A light? Yes, I continued.

And a voice.

The soldiers behind him began whispering quietly among themselves.

Prince Romani looked irritated.

You expect me to believe that a light made you lose military explosives? But then one of the guards who had been inside my helicopter suddenly spoke up.

“It’s true,” the prince turned toward him sharply.

“What? We all saw it?” the guard said, his voice trembling, and we all heard the voice.

The hangar had become completely silent now.

Even the soldiers looked confused.

Prince Ramani’s expression hardened.

“What voice?” he demanded.

I hesitated for a moment.

Then I said the words that had changed everything inside me.

He said his name was Jesus.

The moment I said that name, the entire room seemed to freeze.

Prince Romani stared at me with disbelief.

You are telling me that Jesus appeared in the sky and stole my bombs.

His voice was dripping with sarcasm, but none of us laughed because we knew what we had seen.

Yousef stepped forward next.

Your highness, the helicopter engines stopped in the air.

The bombs floated away by themselves.

We all heard him speak.

The prince shook his head angrily.

This is nonsense.

But the fear in the faces of the guards told another story.

One of them suddenly spoke again.

He called the pilot by name.

Prince Romani’s eyes turned toward me.

He said, “Fared.

” For a moment, the prince didn’t say anything, but then he waved his hand in frustration.

“Enough,” he snapped.

“You expect me to believe a Christian fairy tale?” He looked at the soldiers behind him.

“These men have clearly lost their discipline.

My heart sank slightly, but strangely, I was no longer afraid because the voice I had heard in the sky was still echoing in my heart.

Seek the truth and you will find me.

” Prince Romani pointed at us angrily.

You will all be questioned tomorrow, he said.

Until then, you are confined to the base.

The soldiers began escorting us away.

But as we walked across the runway, Ysef leaned closer to me and whispered quietly.

Farid, do you feel it? What? He placed his hand over his chest.

Something changed in here.

I nodded slowly because I felt it too.

Something inside me had awakened.

For the first time in my life, I wanted to know the truth about the one who had spoken to us in the sky.

Days later, Ysef and I secretly found a small group of Christians who met quietly in Tehran.

When we told them what we had experienced, they looked at each other with tears in their eyes.

One of them opened a Bible and read a verse to us.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:5.

At that moment, I finally understood.

The light we saw in the sky that night was the same light spoken about in that book.

And from that day forward, my life changed forever.

I was once a man sent to destroy churches.

But now, I am a man who tells the world what Jesus did in the sky above Tehran.

Because no amount of power, money, or fear can stop the truth once it has touched a human heart.
