The little giraffe has been suffering for a long time.
The large swelling on its chin presses constantly, leaving it weak and exhausted.
It barely moves, and every step is a struggle.
Despite the pain and fatigue, it searches for any glimmer of hope.
Over time, things only get worse.
The calf can hardly walk, barely keeps its balance, and its strength is almost gone.
The mother giraffe stays close at all times, never leaving its side, gently watching over it and offering care and comfort.
But one day when the situation reaches a critical point, the calf lies in the middle of the savannah completely powerless.
Even the nudges from its mother fail to elicit any response.

That is when the mother realizes she must act immediately.
She decides to seek help before it’s too late.
While there’s still a chance to save her baby’s life.
And so begins the crucial journey.
A path on which the fate of this tiny life depends.
Every step, every moment is priceless.
Will she manage to find help in time? Can the little giraffe survive? The most critical stage now begins, and its outcome will decide the fate of the calf.

The field where they had learned to laugh again, the post where someone always left tea, the porch where banjos had played.
