Hey, I’m so tired.
War below, storm above.
That was the scene over Jerusalem.
As tensions in the region escalated and military alerts spread across the city, the sky suddenly erupted with violent weather.
Strong winds swept through the city.
Suddenly, lightning tore across the dark clouds while thunder rolled through the narrow stone streets.
Residents recorded the chaos as hours of relentless rain turned the entire region into rushing channels of flood water.

But what caught people’s attention was not just the weather.
When the water finally began to recede, a carved stone slab linked to the end times had surfaced after remaining hidden beneath the temple mount for generations.
These events are not unfolding years apart.
They are happening at the same time.
The question is no longer just what is happening but why it is happening.
Now, before we continue, chucks like this video, subscribe, and stay with us because what comes next may change how you see this moment.
In Jerusalem, a city where history and faith have stood for thousands of years, the sky itself has recently turned into the center of attention.
Without much warning, the heavens above the city erupted with violent weather.
Dark storm clouds rolled in rapidly over the hills surrounding Jerusalem, swallowing the sunlight that usually illuminates the ancient stone streets.
Within minutes, powerful winds began sweeping across the city, rushing through narrow alleys and over rooftops that have stood for centuries.
Residents described the moment as sudden and unsettling.
Strong gusts tore through the streets, rattling windows, shaking doors, and bending trees along the roads leading toward the old city, to dust and debris lifted into the air as the wind intensified, pushing across the skyline with a force rarely seen in the region.
What began as a shift in the sky quickly grew into a storm that seemed to grip the entire city.
What made the situation especially striking was how quickly everything changed.
There had been no longup, no slow warning.
The sky simply transformed.
One moment the city stood under calm daylight and the next violent winds were racing through Jerusalem.
Meteorologists can explain the science behind sudden storms, pressure changes, shifting air masses, and seasonal weather patterns moving through the region.
Yet for many people watching the sky above one of the most spiritually significant cities on Earth, here the experience felt heavier than an ordinary storm.
Throughout scripture, the sky is often used as a powerful symbol.
It appears repeatedly in biblical accounts as moments when people are reminded of forces far greater than themselves.
These moments do not always arrive gently.
Sometimes they appear suddenly, interrupting normal life and demanding attention.
What makes this event difficult to ignore is not simply the weather itself, but where it is happening.
Jerusalem had already been living under a heavy atmosphere of tension across the region.
Conflict was escalating.
News reports spoke constantly about military activity.
Sirens had become a familiar sound in many neighborhoods.
People moved through their daily routines carefully, always aware that the situation around them could change at any moment.
quot When the skies above such a place erupt with unusual intensity, people naturally begin asking deeper questions.
Is this just another storm or the beginning of something people were once told to watch for? As the violent winds continued sweeping across Jerusalem, the storm above the city did not fade.
Instead, it grew even more dramatic.
Suddenly, bright flashes of lightning began tearing across the sky, illuminating the ancient skyline for brief, blinding moments.
Each burst of light revealed the stone walls, towers, and rooftops of the old city before darkness returned again.
Moments later, thunder rolled across the hills surrounding Jerusalem, echoing through the narrow stone streets and ancient alleys that have carried footsteps for thousands of years.
Then the rain came.
See, what started as scattered drops quickly turned into heavy rainfall that poured down over the city for hours.
Water rushed through streets and stairways, flowing between buildings and across the old pathways that wind through Jerusalem’s neighborhoods.
In several areas, the drainage system struggled to keep up as the rain intensified.
Before long, parts of the city streets were swallowed by rising flood water.
Cars moved slowly through deep water, and pedestrians searched for shelter beneath archways and doorways.
As the storm continued to unload its weight over the city, residents began pulling out their phones.
Across Jerusalem, people filmed the storm as it unfolded, capturing lightning flashing above ancient landmarks while the sound of thunder echoed through the historic streets.
The videos spread quickly across social media, showing sheets of rain pouring down stone walls, water rushing through alleyways, and lightning cutting across the dark sky above the city.
What made the moment especially striking was the timing.
This storm did not appear during a quiet season.
It arrived at the same time that many incidents have been rising, drawing the attention of the entire world toward the Middle East.
At the very moment Jerusalem’s skies were erupting, other unusual developments were unfolding far beyond the city.
Across the Middle East, the Euphrates River has been receding to levels rarely seen before.
At the same time, in other parts of the world, particularly in the United States, extreme weather has been striking with unusual intensity.
Historic winter storms, destructive floods, and violent winds have appeared in places that rarely experience such events.
Each event on its own might be explained as part of nature’s cycles.
But when storms rage over Jerusalem, ancient rivers shrink in historic regions, and severe weather erupts across distant continents, all within the same moment in time, many people begin to notice the pattern.
The storm above the city therefore felt larger than a single weather event.
It unfolded during a period when the world itself seems to be entering a season of disruption.
And that timing is what made people pause and ask a deeper question.
Is this simply coincidence or a moment when multiple signs are appearing at once? If you feel there’s something more to this moment than meets the eye, stay tuned.
Because as signs emerge from above of the Holy Land and the next warning appears below, silent, still, and impossible to ignore.
But before we dive deeper, do you think this is coincidence or signs? Drop you answer below.
Beneath the ancient ground below the Temple Mount, a discovery has surfaced that feels strangely out of place in both time and context.
During underground inspection work in the deeper layers of soil and stone, workers uncovered a buried stone slab carved with unfamiliar symbols.
The markings etched into the surface appear deliberate and carefully shaped, and some observers believe they may reference themes associated with a final era, or the closing of an age.
The slab had remained hidden far below the surface for generations, sealed beneath layers of earth and ancient debris until now.
What makes the discovery unsettling is not only the message suggested by the carvings is but their mysterious origin.
The symbols do not clearly match modern tools, recent construction, or any known markings commonly found in the immediate area.
They appear ancient, purposeful, and preserved by time itself beneath layers of soil that hint at great age.
Scholars and historians are now examining the stone, yet no clear explanation has fully resolved the questions surrounding it.
Whether this object is a forgotten record, a warning left behind, or simply an artifact from a distant past remains uncertain, but its timing is difficult to ignore.
The stone has emerged at a moment when the region itself feels unsettled.
When the ground has shifted in places, the skies have behaved strangely and tensions across the land seem heavier than usual.
Throughout scripture, here there is a repeated theme.
What is hidden does not remain hidden forever.
In many biblical accounts, buried things come to light not when they are first created, but when the moment arrives for people to see them.
Revelation follows timing, not curiosity.
This stone did not announce itself with an explanation.
It arrived quietly, offering no clear instructions, only questions.
And sometimes questions carry more weight than answers.
Its sudden appearance invites people to wonder whether the past might still be speaking into the present and whether forgotten messages are returning because the moment has come to notice them again.
Why are objects long buried beneath the ground appearing now? Why are remnants of earlier times resurfacing during a season filled with unusual events and uncertainty? But scripture suggests that when the earth begins revealing what it once concealed, it is rarely treated as coincidence.
Instead, it becomes an invitation, an opportunity for reflection, for awareness, and perhaps for preparation before whatever chapter comes next begins to unfold.
Israel closes Al Axa Mosque at Ramadan, citing wartime safety concerns.
The temporary measure during the Holy Muslim fasting month follows tensions as Jewish activists increasingly encroach on the contested religious site.
Tens of thousands of Palestinian worshippers crowded the sprawling courtyards of the Al Axa mosque compound in Jerusalem’s old city last week for the second Friday of Ramadan, the Holy Muslim fasting month.
A day later, Israel abruptly announced that it was temporarily closing the sacred site, leaving its esplenade desolate.
The police said the closure was intended to ensure the safety of civilians while Israel was coming under Iranian missile attacks.
The closure was the latest blow for Muslims from Israeli imposed measures at the disputed and volatile site and it comes during a sensitive time with the region at war again.
The Muslim worshippers who associate Ramadan with praying at Alaka mosque are very heartbroken by this closure, said Mustafa Abu, a Palestinian Islamic scholar and deputy head of the Islamic WAF, the religious trust that manages the Muslim shrines.
If the issue is the safety of worshippers, then Al Axa Mosque has massive subterranean halls that can host thousands of people.
Mr.
Abu Su added, “Our prayers are for a quick end of this war and for a comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
” He said, “When as Israeli and American warplanes began pounding Iran on Saturday, the Israeli police, citing safety concerns, shut the gates of the Alaka compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount.
The hotly contested plateau is revered by Jews as the location of two ancient temples and by Muslims as the noble sanctuary containing the mosque and other shrines including the golden capped dome of the rock.
The compound is both Judaism’s holiest site and Islam’s third holiest site.
It has long been a flash point in the Arab-Israeli conflict, a crucible of Jewish, Muslim religious and political tensions that have often devolved into violence.
Though Jews have traditionally prayed at the Western Wall below, nationalist Jewish activists have increasingly been competing for more access and prayer rights at top the mount.
All right.
The compound is in the predominantly Palestinian eastern half of Jerusalem, which Israel seized from Jordan in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.
Palestinians cherish al Axa, particularly during Ramadan when they gather in large numbers to perform the nightly prayers unique to the holy month.
Israel retains overall security control at the holy site.
It has often limited access, but has rarely closed it altogether.
The police said it was necessary now to enforce national guidelines prohibiting large gatherings and mandating people to stay near bomb shelters.
The Western Wall Plaza was also closed to the public.
Even before the closure, the old order at Al Axa was increasingly being challenged.
An arrangement in place for decades to keep the peace has been gradually fraying in recent years.
under that arrangement two known as the status quo.
Muslims alone can pray at the site.
Jews and other non-Muslims are permitted to visit but not to perform religious rituals there.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli police who are charged with enforcing the status quo pay lip service to it.

They traded a house in Austin for a condo in Chicago.
Mark Zuckerberg is said to have made a record Florida home purchase.
But the reality is different.
Jewish activist groups have long been pressing for more access and equal rights to worship on the mount.
Israeli authorities have responded by allowing increasing numbers of Jewish worshippers to ascend to the compound in groups with a police escort.
They pray openly mostly in an area east of the Muslim shrines of flouting the status quo arrangement.
They have the full backing of Israel’s ultraist national security minister Bengavir.
A Templemount activist since his teens, he now oversees the police force.
As a result, scenes that once were inconceivable in the compound are now the norm.
I visited the site one morning during Ramadan before the closure order, and a police officer near the entrance reminded me of the rules for non-Muslims.
No prayers or religious rituals allowed.
Inside the compound, however, I encountered about a dozen Jewish worshippers, mostly men wearing skull caps or the black fedoras often worn by the strictly Orthodox.
Accompanied by police officers, they walked along the western esplanade singing a lurggical hymn out loud.
Muslims who had come to pray milled around and looked on somberly in silence.
Stopping by some stone steps leading up to the Dome of the Rock, the Jewish worshippers sang louder.
One recited prayers and bowed down in supplication before the police ushered them out at the end of visiting hours.
Before Ramadan, more incremental changes were introduced at the holy site.
Regular afternoon visiting hours for non-Muslims were cancelled for the duration of the fasting month as in previous years, but the police added an hour extending morning visiting hours from 6:30 a.
m.
to 11:30 a.
m.
just half an hour before the daily Muslim noon prayer begins.
Since January, Jewish worshippers have been allowed to take up printed prayer sheets containing a special version of the morning prayer that is recited only at the ancient site.
The police had issued temporary bans barring a prominent imam or prayer leader.
He and dozens of WACF employees from entering the site and police commanders contrary to their usual practice of visiting the WAF offices to discuss any concerns before Ramadan summoned the head of the WAF Shik Aam al-Katib for talks at a police station in the old city.
The shik refused to go according to Mr.
Abu who described the police conduct as disrespectful.
The police responded that their measures were all based on professional security assessments and are carried out in accordance with the law.
The police statement went on to say that their sole objective was maintaining public safety, preventing incitement and violence and safeguarding freedom of worship for all.
The old city holy site has long been a tinderbox.
In 2000, Ariel Sharon, then Israel’s right-wing opposition leader, he visited to assert Jewish claims there.
That prompted a bout of violence that led to a deadly Palestinian uprising known as the second inifat.
In 2017, a crisis erupted after three Arab-Israeli citizens at the compound shot and killed two Israeli Drews police officers.
that led the Israeli authorities to restrict access to the site and to install cameras and metal detectors, setting off further violence.
The metal detectors were quickly removed and in 2021, tensions at the site contributed to the outbreak of 11 days of fierce fighting between Israel and Hamas, the Islamic militant group that has long dominated Gaza.
It also touched off deadly riots in mixed Arab Jewish towns in Israel.
Mr.
Netanyahu has repeatedly asserted that there has been no change to the status quo to not least to protect Israel’s strategic peace treaty with neighboring Jordan, the historical custodian of the old city’s Muslim and Christian holy sites.
Yet shortly before the start of Ramadan, a lawmaker from Mr.
Netanyahu’s conservative likie went up to the mount and recorded a provocative video inside the compound in support of Jewish prayer there.
He marveled at being handed a prayer sheet for the first time and thanked the police and Mr.
Ben Gir.
Amnan Ramon of the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research, an independent Israeli think tank, said the changes at the site constituted a revolution.
More than a decade ago, he said, Mr.
Netanyahu promised King Abdullah of Jordan that Israel would uphold the status quo as part of a deal to diffuse tensions over the site after another wave of bloodshed.
Assaf Frerieded, a spokesman for the Temple Mount administration, which represents about a dozen Jewish activist groups, said that more than a 100 Jewish worshippers enter the compound on a regular day and up to 5,000 during Jewish holidays.
The activists want more.
The demands, according to Mr.
freed are for 24-hour access and the right to bring in prayer shaws, Jewish prayer books, and Torah scrolls and other religious objects.
It’s ridiculous.
You can bring in a Harry Potter book, but not a prayer book, he said.
Still, the changes to the status quo and the Ramadan closure have not stirred any violence so far.
Many Palestinians in East Jerusalem said they were afraid of getting into trouble with the Israelis authorities and being barred from the compound.
The police have cracked down on disscent since the Hamasled assault on Israel on October 7th to 2023 which set off a 2-year war in Gaza.

Bengeir has significantly toughened the conditions for Palestinians in Israeli prisons.
People have had enough.
They just want some quiet to live and bring up their children, said Muhammad Isa, a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem.
You fight over the land and end up under the ground.
Jerusalem had already been living under a heavy atmosphere.
In the streets of the ancient city, life continued, but with a quiet sense of unease.
Shop owners watched the news between customers.
Families checked their phones for updates.
Security forces maintained a strong presence near important sites as the entire region remained on alert.
For Jerusalem, this was not entirely unfamiliar.
The city has stood at the center of conflict many times throughout history.
How empires have risen and fallen around these ancient walls.
Yet, every new period of tension still brings a sense that history may once again be turning.
And then as the political situation grew more unstable, something unusual began to appear above the city.
At first, it was subtle.
The sky over Jerusalem started to change.
Winds began moving through the hills surrounding the city in sudden bursts.
The air felt heavier than usual, as if the atmosphere itself had shifted.
Residents noticed that clouds were gathering faster than expected.
Dark formations slowly spread across the sky above the old stone buildings and narrow streets.
At first glance, it seemed like the beginning of an ordinary storm.
But many people would soon realize that this weather system was behaving in ways that felt anything but ordinary.
Uh because in a city like Jerusalem, a place layered with thousands of years of history, faith, and prophecy, even small changes in the sky can quickly capture attention.
And this time, the sky was only the beginning.
Getting around in times of turmoil, how to keep up morale in Israel during Iran war.
How can we deal with all this abnormal normality? the constant sirens, the fearsome explosions of missiles falling, or the IDF’s interception system working but resulting in shrapnel dispersal.
In these sad, tempestuous, horrific times, for me at least, the sense of being in a helpless sitting duck position is highly frustrating and only serves to exacerbate feelings of doom and gloom.
Besides, naturally doing what we possibly can to stay safe and secure.
And we also need to try our best to stay on an emotional even keel so that when the bad news inevitably filters through, we can take it on board, regroup, and get back to life.
What began as a quiet change in the sky did not stay quiet for long.
Within a short time, the clouds above Jerusalem grew darker and heavier.
The sunlight that had been shining over the ancient city slowly faded behind thick layers of storm clouds.
Winds began sweeping through the hills surrounding Jerusalem, rushing down narrow streets and across open squares.
Then the thunder began.
At first, it sounded distant, rolling across the horizon like a warning far away.
But within minutes, the sound grew louder, echoing across the stone buildings of the old city.
Lightning flashed across the sky or briefly illuminating the ancient walls and towers that have stood for centuries.
Rain followed soon after.
Heavy drops began striking the streets and rooftops, quickly turning into a steady downpour.
Water rushed along the old stone pathways, flowing through narrow alleys and gathering in low areas across the city.
Residents stepped outside their homes and shops, looking up at the sky in surprise.
Some raised their phones and began recording what they were seeing.
Videos of the storm quickly began appearing online.
showing dramatic flashes of lightning above the historic skyline of Jerusalem.
Storms are not unheard of in this region, but many people felt that something about this one was unusual.
The change had happened quickly.
Only hours earlier, the sky had seemed calm, and now powerful winds and repeated flashes of lightning were dominating the atmosphere above one of the most significant cities in the world.
For a place as closely watched as Jerusalem, moments like this rarely go unnoticed.
And as the storm continued to build, many people began to wonder whether this was simply an intense weather system or the beginning of something far more unusual.
As the hours passed, the atmosphere over Jerusalem began to feel increasingly strange.
The rain slowed, yet the clouds did not move away.
Instead, they lingered above the city far longer than expected.
Dark layers of cloud remained suspended over the hills surrounding Jerusalem, almost motionless despite the strong winds below.
And this is when something even more unsettling began to happen.
Lightning continued to flash across the sky.
But the thunder that followed seemed delayed and uneven, echoing across the ancient valleys around the city in ways many residents said they had rarely experienced before.
Some witnesses described the sky glowing briefly between the clouds, as if flashes of light were spreading across the horizon.
Videos began spreading quickly online.
People pointed their cameras toward the sky, trying to capture what they were seeing.
In several recordings, the clouds appeared unusually dense, forming shapes that drifted slowly above the ancient skyline.
Across neighborhoods, residents stepped outside to watch.
Some simply saw an unusual storm.
Others felt something about the moment was different.
Jerusalem has always been a city where natural events carry deeper meaning.
For thousands of years, the people have looked to the skies above this land and remembered words written long ago.
One passage often quoted during times of turmoil comes from the Gospel of Luke.
There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars.
On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
Luke 21:25.
For believers, moments like this echo familiar language, storms in the sky, nations in distress, uncertainty spreading across the world.
One verse frequently mentioned during dramatic events in the heavens comes from the book of Joel.
I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Joel 2:30.
To some observers, these words feel symbolic.
To others, they feel uncomfortably close to the scenes unfolding across the region.
While scientists continue to explain such weather as complex atmospheric systems, many religious communities see events through a different lens.
Because in Jerusalem, a city tied deeply to prophecy, even a storm can cause people to pause and ask a question that has echoed through history.
Are these simply rare natural events or moments meant to remind humanity of something written long ago? Guys, did you see that recently? Frightening scenes began to unfold in Jerusalem as the sky suddenly darkened, swallowed by huge black clouds while fierce winds howled through the streets.
Trees snapped, loose objects were blown across the roads, and rooftops began to shake as the storm quickly built strength.
Within a narrow window of time, nature seemed to erupt in anger as heavy rain started pouring down, turning streets slippery and chaotic.
In several areas, the strong winds damaged homes and shops, leaving many people shaken and some families without shelter.
Many witnesses said they had never seen the sky over Jerusalem look so threatening.
So, what exactly happened in Jerusalem that day? Was it simply a powerful storm or something that made people around the world start paying attention? If you want to follow the full story, make sure to like this video, subscribe to the channel, and leave your thoughts in the comments below.
At first, many people thought it was just another storm forming over Jerusalem.
Dark clouds gathering above the hills around the city were nothing new.
Weather in this region can change quickly, and strong winds often arrive without much warning.
But within a few minutes, people started to feel that this sky was different.
The change happened fast.
Across the city, the bright afternoon light slowly began to fade as large clouds moved in from the west.
At first, they looked like small patches of shadow drifting across the sky.
But soon, the clouds grew bigger, thicker, and started spreading much faster.
Within minutes, they covered most of the sky like a huge dark curtain.
The sunlight that had filled the narrow streets just moments earlier began to disappear.
The sky turned from light blue to a deep gray.
The stone buildings, rooftops, and old city walls fell under a strange dim light that made everything feel a little unsettling.
People began looking up.
Some stopped in the middle of the street, staring at the sky, trying to understand what was going on.
Others pointed toward the thick wall of clouds, moving closer.
It’s getting dark way too fast, someone said in a video that later spread across social media.
And they were right.
The darkness didn’t come slowly like a normal storm.
It felt sudden, almost too quick, as if the sky had changed in only a few minutes.
Then the wind arrived.
At first, it was just a light breeze moving through the streets.
But the air soon became stronger and more restless.
Wind pushed through the narrow roads between the stone buildings, shaking signs and tree branches.
Leaves lifted from the ground and spun through the air.
Market tents began flapping hard.
Papers scattered across the sidewalks.
It was the kind of moment when people start to feel that something bigger might be coming.
Across different parts of the city, daily life changed almost instantly.
Many residents said they felt a strange sense of worry at that moment.
a quiet feeling that this storm might be stronger than usual.
Weather experts later explained that sudden changes like this can happen when large weather systems move across the eastern Mediterranean.
Big differences in air pressure between the hot desert air and cooler air coming from the sea can quickly create powerful storms.
But scientists also mentioned another possible factor.
In recent days, missile interceptions, explosions, and heavy military activity can release heat, smoke, and tiny particles into the air.
In some cases, these things can interact with weather systems already forming in the atmosphere.
They don’t create storms by themselves, but they can sometimes make weather patterns less stable, especially in a region already known for sudden desert winds and fastmoving storms.
Still, events like this are difficult to measure, so confirming the exact cause is not easy.
By now, the wind was roaring through the streets.
Trees bent as strong gusts pushed against them.
Power lines hummed softly as the wind rushed past.
And above it all, the sky over the ancient city carried a strange feeling, something that didn’t seem to fully match either normal weather or the tensions of war.
For some people watching the sky, one thought came to mind almost immediately.
What if this wasn’t just another storm? But the beginning of something new and uncertain unfolding over Jerusalem.
Just as the sky over the city grew darker and the wind continued to build, something unusual began to appear within the storm clouds.
At first, it was only a brief flash of light, something many people assumed was ordinary lightning forming inside the thickening clouds.
Storms often bring sudden flashes across the sky, and most residents barely paid attention at first.
But this light did not behave like normal lightning.
Instead of striking down in a sharp, blinding line, the light seemed to gather itself into a glowing shape, a small sphere of bright energy suspended within the clouds above the city.
For a moment, it hovered.
Several witnesses later said they thought their eyes were playing tricks on them.
The glowing object appeared as a round ball of light moving slowly across the sky, drifting through the dark storm clouds like a floating lantern.
It was not the quick flash of lightning people were used to seeing during a storm.
This light remained visible for several seconds, glowing with an intense white color with hints of orange that stood out sharply against the heavy gray sky.
In several videos captured that evening, a glowing sphere could be seen moving silently through the clouds, flickering softly before fading and then appearing again moments later.
But something else was happening in the sky at the same time.
Across the horizon above Jerusalem, distant flashes suddenly began appearing.
Thin streaks of light rising rapidly into the air.
Interceptor missiles launched from defense systems streaked upward while incoming rockets from neighboring regions crossed the sky in the opposite direction.
Within seconds, the sky became a chaotic display of motion.
The lightning appeared almost intertwined with the streaks of rockets.
Brilliant white flashes erupted between the missile trails, illuminating the clouds for brief moments.
Each burst revealed a sky filled with crossing lines of light.
natural lightning and human-made fire sharing the same horizon.
For those watching from rooftops and balconies, the scene looked surreal.
The glowing sphere drifted silently through the clouds while lightning flashed violently nearby and missile trails burned across the sky.
For a few seconds, the entire atmosphere above Jerusalem looked like a single massive canvas, a collision of storm, technology, and tension.
Scenes like this quickly began spreading online as witnesses uploaded their recordings.
Within hours, the mysterious lights and the strange sky above Jerusalem became one of the most discussed moments of the night.
For many observers, the sky itself seemed to mirror the tension on the ground.
Natural forces and human conflict appearing together in the same moment, as if the entire horizon was painting a scene that the world was still struggling to resolve.
Some who watched quietly remembered a passage from the Bible often quoted when speaking about lightning and storms.
For his lightning lights up the world.
The earth sees it and trembles.
Psalm 97 to4 above Jerusalem.
The storm clouds continued to churn as the wind grew stronger.
The glowing lights eventually disappeared, but the feeling they left behind remained.
Many witnesses later said that was the moment they realized something unusual was unfolding.
The storm that had begun with dark clouds and rising wind had now become something far more complex.
And the sky above Jerusalem was only beginning to reveal its power.
The strange lights in the sky had barely disappeared when the storm over Jerusalem finally showed its full power.
What started as dark clouds and rising wind quickly turned into something much more dangerous.
The air felt heavy, and the wind that had been moving lightly through the streets suddenly became strong and aggressive.
Within minutes, powerful gusts rushed through neighborhoods across the city, shaking windows and rattling rooftops as if the storm had suddenly come alive.
The wind kept getting stronger.
Trees that had been standing still only minutes earlier began to bend under the pressure.
Their branches whipped wildly through the air as strong gusts swept across streets and neighborhoods.
Some trees could not handle the force.
Large branches began snapping with sharp cracking sounds, falling onto roads and parked cars below.
In some places, entire trees were pulled from the ground as the storm pushed forward without slowing down.
Then the rain arrived.
At first it came as a few scattered drops blowing sideways in the wind, but within seconds the sky fully opened.
Heavy rain poured down hard, hitting rooftops, streets, and open areas with non-stop force.
Water quickly began running along the roads as drains struggled to keep up.
Small puddles turned into streams, moving along sidewalks and through narrow streets.
It suddenly became much harder to see.
Drivers slowed down as rain slammed against their windshields.
People walking outside rushed to stand under doorways and balconies, trying to escape the sudden downpour.
Thunder echoed across the dark sky while lightning flashed deep inside the storm clouds.
The strong winds also reached the hills surrounding Jerusalem.
Gusts pushed across open land and valleys, stirring dust and debris into the air.
In some places, loose signs, chairs, and small objects were blown across courtyards and streets.
Back inside the city, the damage slowly began to grow.
In markets and small shops, owners tried to hold doors closed as the wind pushed against them.
Outdoor stands were knocked over as rain soaked everything in seconds.
Pieces of broken branches and debris scattered across roads and sidewalks.
Even animals reacted to the sudden change.
Cats and stray dogs ran for cover under parked cars and building entrances.
Birds struggled to fly through the heavy wind, some landing quickly on rooftops to escape the storm.
Everywhere, the sound of the storm filled the air.
Wind roared through the streets.
Rain hammered against stone walls and metal rooftops.
Tree branches cracked in the darkness as the storm continued to grow stronger.
For many residents, it felt like the entire city was shaking under the force of nature.
Some people watching the storm unfold remembered words written long ago in the Bible about moments when nature itself seemed to rise with overwhelming power.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters, the God of glory thunders.
Psalm 29:3.
Above Jerusalem, the storm clouds continued to move and grow, pushed forward by powerful winds.
What had begun as dark clouds and rising wind had now become a full and violent storm moving across the city.
And for many watching that night, it felt like this was only the beginning.
As the storm kept hitting Jerusalem, heavy rain continued falling for hours.
The streets slowly began filling with water as the drainage systems struggled to keep up.
What first looked like normal flooding soon started spreading into neighborhoods, covering roads, cars, and sidewalks with muddy water rushing through the city.
In some areas, the water rose faster than people expected.
At first, it only covered parts of the street, but soon the water began moving into homes and shops on lower levels.
Doors were pushed open by the pressure of the water and small windows cracked as the flood forced its way inside buildings.
Before long, the situation became frightening.
In several neighborhoods with lower ground levels, water climbed past doorways and started reaching windows.
Families inside their homes had to move quickly upstairs to stay safe.
Some people went from the first floor to the upper rooms and in a few cases even climbed onto rooftops as the water continued rising below them.
From above, the view looked alarming.
Streets had turned into wide streams of muddy water.
Cars were half covered and only the tops of some vehicles could still be seen.
People stood on balconies and rooftops, waving their arms and calling for help, hoping someone nearby would notice them.
Some parents held their children close as they waited.
Others stood carefully along railings or narrow roof edges, trying to stay above the water that surrounded them.
Fear spread quickly as the strong current carried debris through the streets that now looked more like rivers.
Cars slowly drifted away like abandoned objects.
Trash bins, broken branches, wooden boards, and pieces of fences floated through the rushing water as the flood pushed through parts of the city.
Soon, emergency sirens began echoing through the rain.
Rescue teams started moving toward the flooded areas as reports spread across Jerusalem.
Police, firefighters, and emergency workers arrived with trucks, ropes, and rescue equipment.
Some teams used small boats to reach people trapped by the rising water, but helping everyone was not easy.
The water moved quickly through narrow streets.
In some places, the current was strong enough to push against rescue vehicles.
The muddy water also hid dangerous obstacles under the surface, including fallen branches, damaged signs, and broken pieces of buildings.
Some rescuers threw ropes toward people waiting on balconies or rooftops.
Others carefully moved boats between buildings, helping families climb in one by one.
In several tense moments, people were pulled from rooftops and lifted into rescue boats while the water continued rushing around them.
In a few areas, however, the water was still too strong.
Rescue teams had to wait for safer conditions before moving closer.
Through loudspeakers, emergency workers told residents to stay on higher floors or rooftops until help could safely reach them.
Above the city, helicopters soon appeared in the dark sky.
Their blades roared through the storm as crews searched for people trapped by the rising water.
In some rescues, ropes were lowered from the aircraft while people were lifted to safety one by one.
Yet, even as help arrived, the rain continued falling.
Dark storm clouds still hung over Jerusalem, feeding the water that had already spread through parts of the city.
With every passing hour, new reports came in about flooded streets and people needing assistance.
For many watching the situation unfold, the scene reminded them of words written long ago in the Bible.
The floods have risen, Lord.
The floods have lifted their voice.
The floods lift up their waves.
Psalm 93:3.
Across Jerusalem, water continued moving through streets and neighborhoods, carrying debris and forcing families to wait for rescue.
And with the storm clouds still gathering above the city, many feared that the worst might not be over yet.
Even as heavy rain and flooding continued in parts of Jerusalem, another frightening part of the storm began to appear.
High above the dark clouds covering the city, the atmosphere was becoming more unstable.
Cold air moving through the upper sky crashed into rising warm air below, creating huge thunderclouds that twisted and rolled like giant towers overhead.
What fell from those clouds next surprised many people.
At first, only a few small pieces of ice hit the ground.
They bounced lightly off rooftops and streets, catching people off guard.
Many residents were already watching the storm carefully, but these first pieces of ice didn’t seem too serious.
Then the sound suddenly changed.
The sky began dropping something much stronger.
Large hailstones started falling from the clouds.
They slammed into rooftops, cars, and streets with sharp cracking sounds.
What started as a few scattered pieces of ice quickly turned into a heavy hail storm as dozens, then hundreds of frozen stones fell across neighborhoods and streets.
The noise quickly became loud and chaotic.
Hail pounded against metal roofs like rocks being thrown from the sky.
Windows shook as ice hit the glass.
People who were still outside immediately ran for cover as the storm kept getting stronger.
Some hailstones were about the size of golf balls.
Others looked even bigger.
When they hit the ground, they broke apart and scattered pieces of ice across the sidewalks and roads.
Cars parked along the streets quickly started showing damage.
Windshields cracked under the hits, and dents appeared on hoods and roofs as the ice kept falling.
In some areas, the hail came down so heavily that the streets started turning white.
Drivers who had been trying to move through the storm suddenly slowed down or stopped completely.
Visibility dropped and the roads became slippery and dangerous.
Many people pulled their cars to the side and waited inside, hoping the hail storm would end before their vehicles were badly damaged.
Across neighborhoods, the sound of hail hitting rooftops echoed through the storm.
Roof tiles cracked after repeated impacts.
Metal roofing rattled loudly as the ice struck again and again.
In a few homes, small glass skylights broke, letting rain and ice fall into the rooms below.
People rushed indoors as fast as they could.
Pedestrians ran from sidewalks into shops, restaurants, and apartment buildings, raising their arms over their heads to protect themselves from the falling ice.
Some tried using umbrellas or bags as shields, but the hailstones were too large and too strong to stop easily.
Parents shouted for their children to come inside right away.
Street vendors quickly left their stands as the ice began hitting their carts and tables.
Within minutes, outdoor markets that had been busy just moments earlier were suddenly empty as people ran for shelter.
Even animals reacted to the sudden violence of the storm.
Birds flew away from rooftops, searching for cover under bridges and building edges.
Stray cats and dogs ran toward doorways as residents quickly opened doors to let them inside.
Above all the chaos, thunder kept rolling across the sky.
Lightning flashed inside the massive storm clouds, lighting up the falling hail for a few seconds at a time.
For some people watching the storm, the scene brought to mind ancient words written about powerful storms.
He loads the thick cloud with moisture.
The clouds scatter his lightning.
Job 37 to 111.
Above Jerusalem, the storm continued to grow stronger.
Rain, wind, hail, and thunder were now moving together in one powerful system, shaking the city.
What had begun as dark clouds earlier in the day had turned into a full display of nature’s force.
And even as the hail kept falling, many people could feel that the storm was not finished yet.

As the storm over Jerusalem kept getting stronger, the sky above the city started looking even more unstable.
Dark clouds rolled and twisted across the sky like giant waves.
Thunder echoed across the hills while rain and hail continued hitting rooftops and streets below.
Many people watching the sky felt like the storm had already reached its worst point.
But what appeared next shocked even those who had already seen how powerful the storm had become.
Inside the thick storm clouds, something strange began to happen.
High above the ground, part of the clouds slowly started spinning.
At first, it was hard to see clearly through the heavy rain and darkness, but after a few moments, the movement became easier to notice.
The center of the cloud began pulling downward, stretching toward the ground like the storm itself was reaching down.
Then it happened.
A long funnel-shaped column of spinning wind dropped from the cloud.
The dark twisting shape reached down from the sky like a rope made of wind.
Slowly at first, then faster, the funnel stretched lower and lower until it finally touched the ground.
A tornado had formed.
The moment the spinning column connected with the earth, the wind grew much stronger.
Dust, and debris were quickly pulled into the air.
Leaves, dirt, and broken branches began spinning around the funnel as it gained strength.
Within seconds, damage started appearing.
The tornado moved across open areas and roads, tearing through anything in its path.
Trees that had already been weakened by the storm suddenly snapped as the powerful wind twisted through their branches.
Some trees were even pulled out of the ground, their roots lifted into the air before being thrown aside.
Nearby rooftops began shaking violently as the wind passed.
In several places, pieces of metal roofing were ripped off and thrown through the air like paper.
Wooden fences broke apart as the tornado crossed open land, scattering boards and debris across the ground.
Small structures like sheds were destroyed in seconds.
The sound of the tornado was terrifying.
Many witnesses later said it sounded like a loud jet engine or a fastmoving train roaring through the air.
The wind screamed as it spun faster and faster, pulling everything into its path.
People who saw the funnel coming quickly ran for safety.
Some rushed into buildings while others moved to lower floors or rooms without windows.
Anyone caught outside could only watch in shock as the spinning column of wind moved across the land.
Above the chaos, lightning kept flashing inside the dark storm clouds, lighting up the tornado for a few seconds at a time.
For some people, the frightening scene reminded them of words written long ago in the Bible.
The Lord has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm.
Nahm 1:3 The tornado continued moving across the area, lifting debris high into the sky while thunder and rain surrounded it.
Trees, broken branches, and pieces of rooftops spun through the air as the storm showed one of its most violent moments.
And as the dark funnel moved beneath the stormy sky over Jerusalem, many people realized the storm had reached a level of destruction they had never expected.
As the storm kept moving across Jerusalem, many people thought they had already seen the worst of it.
Heavy rain had flooded some streets, strong winds had shaken buildings, and hail had already caused damage in several areas.
But high above the city in the colder hills around Jerusalem, the storm showed another surprising change that few people expected.
While the lower parts of the city were still dealing with rain and flooding, the air in the higher areas started getting colder.
The powerful storm system carried a huge amount of moisture.
And as the clouds moved over higher ground where the temperature was lower, the weather began to shift.
The rain slowly started to change.
What began falling from the sky.
There was no longer just rain.
It was snow.
At first, only a few small flakes appeared.
They floated slowly through the wind, looking like tiny white sparks against the dark sky.
People in the higher neighborhoods looked outside in surprise as the temperature suddenly dropped and the rain turned into light snow.
But the snowfall did not stay gentle for long.
Within minutes, the wind grew stronger again, pushing the snow across the air with force.
What started as a few scattered flakes quickly turned into a heavy snowstorm as thick clouds released waves of snow over the hills, roads, and neighborhoods.
Visibility dropped quickly.
The wind blew snow sideways across the streets, covering roads, rooftops, and trees with layers of white.

Inside the Impossible $300B Canal – Bypassing the Strait of Hormuz
The idea of reducing global dependence on a single strategic maritime chokepoint has long captured the attention of policymakers, engineers, and economists. Among the most ambitious concepts under discussion is the proposal to construct an artificial canal through the Hajar Mountains, creating an alternative shipping corridor that could ease pressure on the Strait of Hormuz. […]
Yemen Just Entered the War: America Walked Into a Two-Front Trap | Prof. Jiang Xueqin
So today I want to discuss something that I believe changes everything about this war. And I mean everything. Because up until now most people have operated under a very specific assumption. They assumed that Iran is fighting this war alone. Isolated, surrounded, outmatched, surprised by the speed and scale of what has happened. But […]
