As Passover approaches, Jewish extremist groups have again pledged to take over the Alaka mosque compound under the protection of Israeli security forces.

Palestinians view the move as a violation of the status quo.

The Jordanian Wak or Islamic Trust that manages the compound has criticized the planned incursions.

They’re also planning to slaughter five red cows.

Slaughtering a red cow is believed by Jewish extremists to be a divine commandment that paves the way for the building of the third temple replacing the Dome of the Rock.

We are the basen of Yushlay and we have passed him that all Jews around the world have a obligation right now to do whatever is in their power to come to Israel.

And that is the mitzvah of the Torah.

And that is the mitzvah of today.

Something incredible is unfolding in our time.

Something many believed would never happen.

For over 2,000 years, the Jewish people have lived without a high priest, without daily sacrifices, and without a functioning temple in Jerusalem.

But today, something has shifted.

The ancient garments of the high priest have been remade.

The sacred vessels have been prepared.

The red hepher has been bred.

And now the man who will serve as the high priest is standing by, fully trained, fully ready, and awaiting one specific event.

The rebuilding of the temple.

Why is this significant? Because it points directly to the words spoken by the prophet Daniel, to a prophecy that has remained mysterious for centuries.

and to the possibility that we are witnessing the countdown to the final chapters of this world’s history.

For most people, the idea of a high priest in Israel sounds like something from ancient history, a role tied to the Old Testament, long gone and no longer relevant.

But in truth, the role of the high priest was never just about the past.

It always pointed to something far greater in the future.

In Exodus 28, God commanded Moses to create special garments for Aaron, the first high priest.

And you shall make holy garments for Aaron, your brother, for glory and for beauty.

Exodus 28:2.

These garments included the breastplate with 12 stones representing the tribes of Israel, the ephod, the robe, and the turban with the golden plate inscribed holiness to the Lord.

For generations, these garments were worn by men chosen to intercede between God and the people of Israel.

But when the second temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD, the role of the high priest disappeared.

Since then, there has been no temple, no sacrifices, and no day of atonement performed according to the ancient laws.

That long silence is now being broken.

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has spent years preparing everything needed for the third temple.

Among their accomplishments, they have trained a group of priests from the descendants of Aaron, the Kohanim, and have designated one of them to serve as the high priest.

Rabbi Baruk Kahane has been named the candidate for this role.

He has been studying the ancient priestly laws in depth and preparing to carry out the rituals exactly as they are written in the Torah.

The garments have been made.

The altar has been constructed.

The ashes of a red hepher are being prepared.

Everything is ready.

This is not just a symbolic act.

It is a prophetic fulfillment.

To understand why this matters, we must look at the book of Daniel, one of the most powerful prophetic books in the Bible.

In Daniel chapter 9, we read about the 70 weeks prophecy.

70 weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness.

Daniel 9:4.

Later, Daniel speaks of a time when the daily sacrifice will be taken away.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.

Daniel 9 27.

For nearly 2,000 years, this part of the prophecy could not be fulfilled because there was no sacrifice to stop.

But now with a high priest ready and trained and with preparations for daily offerings in motion, Daniel’s words take on new meaning.

Many Bible scholars believe that this verse refers to the rise of a future world leader, the Antichrist, who will make a 7-year peace agreement with Israel and then break it halfway through by stopping the sacrifices and desecrating the temple.

If this interpretation is correct, then the reestablishment of the priesthood and the possibility of daily sacrifices are not just religious milestones.

They are prophetic countdown markers.

They are signs that Daniel’s final week, the 70th week, is near or already beginning.

Right now, the temple is the only thing missing.

The priesthood is ready.

The garments are ready.

The utensils are ready.

Even the land where the temple once stood has become the focus of intense debate and international attention.

The Jewish people believe that the temple must stand on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where the Dome of the Rock currently sits.

For this reason, building the Temple is not simply a religious challenge.

It is a political and global issue.

Yet despite this, many within Israel are calling for the rebuilding of the temple.

A growing number of Jewish people, especially the younger generation, are expressing their desire to see the temple restored.

Temple groups are gaining followers.

Marches in Jerusalem carry banners that say, “Bring the temple now.

” Even Israeli media has begun to talk more openly about the possibility.

For believers in Jesus Christ, the rebuilding of the temple is not a reason to fear.

It is a reason to stay alert and watchful.

Jesus himself warned us to be aware of the signs of the times.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains.

Matthew 24 to 16.

These are not just ancient words.

They are a direct reference to Daniel’s prophecy and to a real event that will happen in the future temple.

And now with the high priest ready and preparations underway, that future no longer feels so distant.

This also reminds us of the central role of Jesus as our eternal high priest.

We have such an high priest who is set on the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens.

Hebrews 8:1.

Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of the priesthood.

His sacrifice on the cross ended the need for animal offerings.

His resurrection opened the way for all of us to be reconciled with God.

So while the earthly priesthood prepares to return, we must remember that our hope is not in the temple made with hands, but in the heavenly temple where Christ himself intercedes for us.

With each passing day, prophecy is unfolding.

The high priest is not just a historical figure anymore.

He is standing, breathing, preparing to serve in the temple of God.

And when that temple rises again in Jerusalem, the final pages of the Bible will begin to turn before our eyes.

We must be awake.

We must be ready, not with fear, but with faith.

Jesus told us that these things would come to pass, not to scare us, but to prepare us.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21 28.

So let us keep watching.

Let us stay faithful.

Let us live each day as if we are standing on the edge of eternity because we are.
