The silence at the top of Iran’s power structure is growing louder and is getting more dangerous by the day.
For weeks now, Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader Mushtabak Kamini has not been seen or heard publicly.
And now reports suggest he may be critically ill, possibly unconscious with an amputated leg or in coma.
Some say he’s on a ventilator, hence unable to govern.
Hello and welcome.
I’m Radhika Dhawad and you’re watching the big picture.
Just over a month ago, a major escalation shook the region.
A series of coordinated strikes involving the United States and Israel targeted key Iranian leadership figures.
And in one of those strikes, Iran’s longtime supreme leader Ali Kamini was killed.
Now, this was a historic moment.

For over three decades, Ali Kamini was the most powerful figures in Iran, shaping its domestic and foreign policies.
His death created an immediate power vacuum, one that needed to be filled quickly.
and within days his son Mushtabak Kamini was elevated to the position of supreme leader.
This move was controversial.
Unlike previous transitions which involved religious and political consensus, Mushtaba’s rise appeared rapid and tightly controlled.
But here’s where things take a dramatic turn.
Now according to multiple reports including one citing intelligence shared between the US and Israel and Gulf allies, Mushtava Kamini was also injured in that same strike and now new claims suggest his condition is far worse than initially believed.
The reports say he is currently in the city of K, a deeply significant place in Iran.
Now K is not just any city.
It is the spiritual heart of Shia Islam in the country.
It houses major religious institutions and clerical authorities.
Moving a leader there, especially for medical treatment, signals both urgency and sensitivity.
Now, according to the leaked diplomatic memo, Mashtava is in a severe condition, reportedly unconscious and unable to participate in decision making.
Now, if true, this raises a really critical question.
who is actually running Iran right now.
Iranian officials insist that Mushtaba remains in charge.

State media has even released statements attributed to him, but notably there has been no verified audio or video of him speaking since the war began.
Now instead, what we’ve seen is something extremely unusual.
An AI generated video showing Moshtabak Kamini in a war room analyzing what appears to be a map of Israel’s nuclear facility in Deona.
Now this has only added to the speculations.
Why rely on AI generated visuals if the leader is active and capable.
Now let’s talk about the timeline of events more clearly.
The initial strike happens.
Ali Kamini is killed.
Mushtava is injured but survives.
And within days, he’s declared the new supreme leader.
Then he disappears from public view.
Over the next several weeks, conflicting reports emerge.
Some say he is recovering from injuries like a broken leg and facial wounds.
Others claim he is in coma.
And now the latest reports suggest he may be severely critically ill and incapacitated in com.
Now there’s another detail that has raised eyebrows.
The same report claims preparations could be underway for Muchaba Kamini to be buried next to his father Ali Kamini.
If true, this suggests that his condition may be extremely serious, possibly life-threatening.
However, it is important to be clear that none of this has been officially confirmed by Iran or the United States.
Both governments have remained silent on these specific claims.
So why does this uncertainity matter so much? Because in Iran, the supreme leader is not just a political figure.
He is the ultimate authority over the military, judiciary, and key state institutions.
If the leader is incapacitated, it creates a power vacuum at the very top.
And Iran is currently in the middle of a major regional conflict.
And this brings us to the key players involved.
On one side, you have Iran and its network of regional allies.
On the other, you have Israel backed by the United States.
The conflict has already lasted over 5 weeks with rising tensions across the Middle East.
If Iran’s leadership is unstable at this moment, it could affect military decisions, diplomatic strategies, and internal stability.
And inside Iran, different factions may also be watching this development closely.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corpse often known as the IRGC holds immense significant power.
Religious authorities in K also played a crucial role in legitimizing leadership.
So if Mushtaba is unstable and unable to govern, these groups could become more influential or even compete for control.
Now let us look at the information battle.
Much of what we are hearing comes from intelligence leaks and media reports including outlets like the times.
These reports are believed to be based on US and Israeli intelligence assessments shared with regional allies.
But without official confirmation, there is always a level of uncertainty.
Governments often control information tightly during wartime and at the same time intelligence leaks can be used strategically to influence perception, create pressure or signal strength.
So we have to ask are these reports fully accurate, partially true or part of a broader information strategy? Well, that’s still unclear.
But what we do know is that Mushtabaka Kamini has not appeared publicly since the start of the conflict.
No verified recordings of his voice have been released and Iran has relied on indirect communication and even AI generated imagery to present his leadership.
Now these are not normal signs for an active head of state.
Now let’s consider what could happen next.
Now there are a few possible scenarios.
First Mtaba recovers and resumes public leadership.
Now this would stabilize the entire situation at least in the short term.
Now the second he remains incapacitated but alive.
In this case power may shift informally to other figures within the regime creating a shadow leadership structure.
The third possibility, and this is the most serious scenario, if Mushtava Kamini dies, Iran could face another leadership transition in the middle of an already ongoing intense conflict.
And that would be a moment of extreme uncertaintity, not just for Iran, but for the entire region.
And it could affect everything from military escalation to global oil markets to diplomatic relations.
And that is why this story really matters here.
It is not just about one individual’s health but it is about the stability of a country that plays a central role in Middle Eastern geopolitics.
Right now the world is watching very closely but getting very few clear answers and until those answers come the uncertaintity itself becomes a part of the crisis and as this situation develops one question remains at the center of it all.
Who is really in control of Iran today and for how long? You let me know.
What do you think? Is Mushtab Kamini already dead? Why is Iran reportedly preparing for his burial?
