The US just announced a complete blockade of the straight of Hermoose.

If Iran continues attacking civilian ships, then nothing will get in or out.

Negotiations collapsed last night.

And this morning, Trump has announced a new strategy.

You see, since this war started, Iran has attacked at least 22 civilian ships, killed 10 crew members, and stranded around 800 vessels and 20,000 seafarers.

Because of these terrorist attacks, the US has announced a new policy this morning.

This is what Trump put out this morning.

So there you have it.

The meeting went well.

Most points were agreed to.

But the only point that really mattered, nuclear, was not effective immediately.

The United States Navy, the finest in the world, will begin the process of blockading any and all ships trying to enter or leave the Hermoose.

At some point, we’ll reach an all being allowed to go in.

all being allowed to go out bases.

But Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying there may be a mine out there somewhere that nobody knows about but them.

This is world extortion and leaders of countries especially the United States of America will not be extorted.

I have also instructed our navy seek and interdict any vessel in the international waters that has paid a toll to Iran.

No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas.

will also begin destroying the mines the Iranians laid in the straits.

Any Iranian who fires at us at peaceful vessels will be blown to hell.

Iran knows better than anyone how to end the situation which has already devastated their country.

Their navy is gone.

Their air force is gone.

Their anti-aircraft radars are useless and Hamonyi and most of their leaders are dead all because of their nuclear ambitions.

The blockade will begin shortly and other countries will be involved with this blockade.

Iran will not be allowed to profit off this illegal act of extortion.

They want money and more importantly they want nuclear.

Additionally, at an appropriate moment, we are fully locked and loaded and our military will finish up the little that is left of Iran.

Now, let me give some context because this does sound like opposite of what US was trying to do just a week ago.

Remember just recently we lifted sanctions on Russian oil at sea and Iranian oil at sea.

The goal with those actions was to bring more supply to the market so oil prices come down.

The thinking behind that decision was pretty simple.

If oil prices drop, then Iran’s leverage over the straight disappears.

And that gives the United States more time to continue the war until there’s a negotiated settlement that America is happy with.

But you see, that strategy had some big downsides, and that’s comes with any any decision you make.

There are pros and cons.

Some of the cons of the old strategy was that Iran was able to get money by exporting their oil and their ships could come in and out of the straight.

And on top of that, Russia was also making money that they couldn’t before this war because sanctions were lifted on Russian oil at sea.

But to make matters worse, American allies like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, well, they couldn’t use the straight at all.

That means Iran was making money from the straight of Hermuz, but American allies were not because of Iranian blockading their ships.

Now, of course, the administration knew the downside when they made that decision.

They were basically betting that as long as oil was on the market, it didn’t matter if it came from Iran or Russia because it brought the prices down and gave the United States more time to get to a negotiated settlement when the war is over.

But now that we know that negotiations happened and Iran did not change their tune, they still have nuclear ambitions that they are unwilling to give up.

And this is exactly why the strategy is changing.

Now instead of letting Iranian ships come and go, US is blockading everything.

That means until Iran is willing to let other countries ship their oil too, Iranian oil will not be leaving the state of Hermuse either.

This achieves the same thing that people were speculating US was trying to achieve by seizing Car Island.

You see, Car Island is where Iran ships 90% of its oil exports.

Seize that island and Iran loses its only source of revenue.

Well, blockading the strait basically does the same thing without putting troops on the ground.

Iran now has a simple choice.

Most intense day' of U.S. strikes on Iran, Hegseth says; Tehran warns it will block oil until attacks end

Open the straight of Hermus for everyone or lose all revenue themselves.

Now, of course, as I said before, every decision has pros and cons.

And likewise, this strategy has downsides, too.

So, if you’re subscribed, you have a higher chance of watching all our videos.

Now, let’s talk about the downsides.

One of the biggest one is, of course, the price could shoot up dramatically overnight.

Now, the US is hoping that this would make other countries realize what Iran is truly doing.

They’re trying to basically blackmail the whole world, every single citizen in the world who depends on oil.

Iran wants the prices to go up because they know that’s the only leverage they have.

And if prices go up dramatically, then more countries are more willing to get involved in the state of Hermuz and make sure the international law is basically reinstated.

But on top of that, there’s also another bigger question.

And that question is that is the United States willing to intercept a Chinese tanker that takes oil from Iran and is trying to come in or maybe out of the straight of Hermoose because that kind of action could create an international problem much bigger than the Iran war.

Now, China has its issues, but it’s still a very powerful country.

It’s exponentially more powerful than Iran, and I doubt US wants an escalation on that front.

But maybe that is the point.

You see, China is a close ally of Iran.

If China stops getting its oil, then maybe even China will start putting more pressure on Iran to give up nuclear weapons and accept a negotiated deal.

And guess what? Just this morning, President Trump confirmed that there are other countries who are now working with the United States to clear the straight of Hermoose of sea mines that Iran has laid.

One of these countries that President Trump mentioned himself is the UK.

Take a listen.

Now, we have highly sophisticated underwater mind sweepers which are the latest and the greatest, but we’re also bringing in more traditional mind sweepers.

And so, I understand is the UK and a couple of other countries are sending mind sweepers.

A lot of countries don’t have mind sweepers.

Think of it.

They had 28 mind droppers.

What country has 28 m droppers? 28 boats to drop mines.

What country? They’ve been completely obliterated.

They no longer.

So we knocked out their entire navy.

They have 158 ships.

They have 28 m droppers.

Every single one of them is at the bottom of the sea.

Can you believe it? We did that in four days.

Their air force is gone.

Their anti- uh if you if you look uh anti-aircraft, all of their all of their radar is out.

Anti-aircraft is their defensive program is all knocked out.

They they don’t have anything.

And you know the sad part is and I can’t say this is for you.

We knock out everything including their leaders.

Their military is gone.

Everything’s gone.

Their missiles are down to a trickle by comparison.

You know >> this is where another strategy also opens up.

Let’s say the Iranian mines are cleared up over the next couple of days.

Then the US Navy can start escorting non-Iranian tankers through the straight of Hermoose.

And this is something US warships already tested yesterday.

They went into the Persian Gulf, crossed the straight of Hermoose, and then came back out.

Now the same warships can be used to basically provide more confidence to the companies that own these tankers that they can go into the straight of Hermoose, get the oil and come back out.

And let’s say if US starts doing that and Iran starts attacking these civilian ships or US warships, then it’s Iran who’s breaking the ceasefire, not the United States.

From the US point of view, even though negotiations failed, the ceasefire is still in effect for roughly 11 more days.

And if Iran really wants to shut down the state of Hermoose, they would have to attack a US warship, breaking a ceasefire that they agreed to and restarting hostility.

That gives us the justification for a major escalation that Iran is not prepared for.

Talking about escalation, we are seeing a unified message from the administration that we really haven’t seen since the start of this war.

Why Iran and Other Regimes Are So Hard to Break - WSJ

Now, I’m not telling you guys that the administration is not giving the American public a reason for why this war started.

But you see, when the war did start and in the first few weeks of the war, the administration was giving multiple different reasons as to why US had to do what it’s doing.

But now there’s just one reason, no more confusion, just a unified message.

That message is simple.

Iran is unwilling to give up nuclear ambitions.

And that is being repeated in every single statement that has come out this morning that came out last night and it is being repeated from every single member of the administration.

That type of a unified message gives a better chance of more percentage of the American public getting behind whatever comes next.

And I’m guessing that’s one of the goals.

This is something President Trump himself reiterated in a foreign interview this morning.

Take a listen.

>> And this is a key point, Mr.

President, for those people out there who have not been following it as closely, can you explain to those people why it was critical for the United States to go into Iran? Can you articulate what was behind that move that was so important
for the US to go into Iran? >> Yeah.

So easy.

The easiest question you’ve asked me so far, they can’t have nuclear weapons.

They have nuclear.

They want to enrich what they have.

They want to enrich more.

As you know, we knocked out with the B2 bombers.

Had we not knocked that out, they would have had a nuclear weapon within one month after we knocked out.

In other words, had the B2, those beautiful B2 bombers totally obliterated.

There’s three sites.

They have three sites and they are now deep in the earth with, you know, tons of rock.

Now, that material should be gotten, but we have cameras on it.

We have satellites with Space Force.

It was one of my beauties.

Space Force so important, but we’re watching those.

We’re watching every single aspect of that area.

They can’t move without us knowing exactly what’s going on.

But but it’s deep down and it take a long time to get it out.

It’s an amazing attack.

Had we not done that, they would have had within one month from that date, they would have had a nuclear weapon.

If they had a nuclear weapon, they would have used it on Israel and the Middle East.

Look, they went after five countries that were sort of neutral, I guess.

I don’t know how friendly they were, but they weren’t in the line of attack.

They dropped on UAE, probably 1,800 missiles.

They dropped on Saudi Arabia a lot and they dropped on Qar a lot.

They dropped on Bahrain.

I mean, they they went they went crazy and everyone was surprised.

Actually, it was good for us because they all joined us immediately, you know, at some point.

I mean, they’re either going to be petrified or they’re going to join.

They all joined and they’ve been very helpful.

All of these countries have been great.

And Kuwait >> and and this is the key point that I was getting to and the reason that you feel they cannot have a nuclear weapon because they will use it.

And that’s what I wanted you to explain to the audience.

>> Yeah, I think they would use it.

And they start with Israel and one weapon would, you know, do damage like nobody’s ever seen.

Wipe it out conceivably.

Big one.

No, >> not wipe it out.

They don’t they don’t need more than one.

And then they go after the Middle East and then they’d eventually come here.

>> Then he also confirmed that China can just work with the United States or other countries in the Western Hemisphere to get the oil that they used to get from Iran.

Maybe this statement kind of does hint at that US will try to blockade even the Chinese ships when they come out of the straight of Hermus.

That’s something we’ll just have to watch closely and see because that’s definitely going to be a big part of the story moving forward.

But here’s what President Trump said.

>> China can send their ships to us.

China can send their ships to Venezuela.

We told them buy from Venezuela.

We have a lot of over capacity.

Would sell them and we’ll probably sell it for even less money.

I have a very good relationship with President Xi of China.

We work together very well.

They’re paying us substantial money as you know.

We’ve never got money before.

You know, I listen to this Gordon Chang.

He has no idea what he’s talking about.

We have been very tough on China.

Tough but fair.

And uh you know, it’s an amazing place, but I have a very good relationship with China.

And they’ve been doing my you know, I put tremendous tariffs.

I put a 100% tariff on all Chinese cars coming in and that’s destroying Europe.

They’re destroying Europe because they’re taking away so much business from Mercedes and BMW etc.

And we don’t have any Chinese cars in our country because they would have destroyed General Motors, Ford.

They would have destroyed these companies if they did it.

Iran war updates: Trump wants ‘unconditional surrender’ as attacks continue

So I put a 100% tariff on and in all fairness to Biden, he allowed it to stay on, which is shocking to me.

It’s one of the things it’s about the only thing he did good.

But he loudered to say so we don’t have the problem that they have.

You know what? They’re having tremendous economic problems in Europe because they’re being just swamped with these Chinese cars.
