Megan Olivi fully supports a Ronda Rousey comeback.

Rumors have been swirling surrounding a potential Rousey return. She’s been linked to a boxing match against Katie Taylor and an MMA fight against Gina Carano. The former UFC bantamweight champion has been seen training as of late, but Dana White said he doesn’t know what her plans are.
Olivi spoke about her history with Rousey (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and how the UFC superstar played a pivotal role in her growth as a reporter.
“You know what, I don’t know – and Ronda was my girl,” Olivi told MMA Junkie. “We worked together so much when she was in the organization. I feel a debt of gratitude to her because if she didn’t allow me the space to have all those interviews with her, I don’t know if my career would have evolved in the same manner in which it did. So I hope that if Ronda wants to have a fight that she has whatever fight she wants and does it to the best of her abilities.

“She just had two kids and it was like, ‘I want to remind myself that I’m a badass,’ that that’s what she’s doing, as well. I fully support it. But I think the Ronda narrative, the Gina Carano narrative, everybody’s getting back in the gym and they’re throwing us these little crumbs, like what is going on? But no matter what it is, these are women that have paved the road for so many – in the octagon, but also in the sports world in general. So whatever they want to do, I fully support it.”
Rousey, 38, hasn’t competed since a 48-second knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016.
