Jake Paul reflected on his first stoppage loss shortly after the fight.

Paul’s bout with Anthony Joshua drew 33 million viewers when streaming live on Netflix from the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19.
The influencer turned boxer was stopped in the sixth round after being dropped multiple times by the former two-time heavyweight champion.
While Paul plans on taking a break from boxing before chasing his dreams of becoming a world champion, he still took the time to speak about the fight with his brother.
Jake Paul reflects on his loss to Anthony Joshua in podcast shortly after his stoppage loss
Jake Paul reflected on his latest outing during the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast alongside his brother Logan Paul.
The likes of Conor McGregor have praised Paul since the bout for stepping in the ring with one of the most dangerous fighters on the planet.
Others, however, were critical of the way that he approached the bout, questioning whether he truly believed he could beat Anthony Joshua when standing across the ring from him.
Paul, who is currently recovering from his injuries, said during the podcast that there are several things he wishes had been different in hindsight.

He specifically highlighted one aspect of his preparations as his “biggest mistake” after his conditioning became a major factor in the result.
“I wish I had more than three weeks to prepare, to maybe put on some more muscle to be able to sit there and hit him,” Paul admitted. “And I should have gone to altitude to train. That was my biggest mistake. I felt good about [my camp], yeah. But I just needed to have that extra level of cardio for this, and that only can come from going to altitude.”
Paul added that while he would go back and change a few things, he’s still happy to have learned these lessons, stating that he believes it wasn’t just him that was hit with some good shots last Friday night.
“It’s a great experience overall to be in there with someone that’s that good. I learned a lot,” he said. “I see where I could have done better. So, I’m a little disappointed, but I also know how good he is. But I had him wobbled at one point. I had him wobbled.”
Jake Paul targets Francis Ngannou now that they share a common opponent

Francis Ngannou turned down the offer to face Jake Paul because he believed that he was above this fight and didn’t think it was serious before Anthony Joshua stepped in.
During the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul made reference to the fact that he lasted much longer than Ngannou did in the ring with ‘AJ’.
“I told everyone that I would do better than Francis, and that Francis kinda got no chin,” Paul stated “Francis is low-key soft.”
‘The Problem Child’ then convinced himself that the former UFC heavyweight champion could be his next target.
“I’ll fight Francis,” Paul said. “That’s a good idea, actually. I think maybe now he’ll take it.”
