Conor McGregor couldn’t resist taking a Christmas Day shot at Jake Paul.

You’d think the UFC superstar would be focused on his wife and four children over the holidays.
Instead, ‘Notorious’ mocked the broken jaw Jake Paul suffered against Anthony Joshua last week.
Conor McGregor originally sent a nice message to the YouTuber-turned-boxer. “Fair play! Well done,” he said when Jake Paul made a post about undergoing surgery after the first knockout loss of his 12-2 boxing career.
Conor McGregor tweets and deletes Jake Paul jibe
On Thursday, Jake Paul celebrated Christmas by sending a health and well-being update to his fans.
“God is great,” the 28-year-old tweeted.
“Broken jaw, but brain and spine all clear.
“Never been more motivated.
“Merry Christmas to all around the world.
“Never stop trying to be great. You are guaranteed 100% failure if you don’t try.”
Conor McGregor agreed with the sentiment, but still took a shot at Paul in his response.
The 37-year-old MMA legend mocked the fact that Paul is currently eating all of his food in liquid form after suffering a double broken jaw.
“Indeed! God is great! Enjoy your Christmas smoothies, bro,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
Conor McGregor’s next fight
Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.
The former dual-weight UFC champion is currently gearing up for his comeback next year.
McGregor hopes to return to the Octagon on the UFC White House card on June 14.
Michael Chandler has been chasing a fight with McGregor for years and appears to be the frontrunner to welcome him back to MMA.
But it’s currently unclear whom he will face or whether he will be a part of the once-in-a-lifetime event.
All will be revealed when UFC CEO Dana White starts building the White House card in February.
